I had an amazing stay! My Standard Double Room offered a fantastic view overlooking the Cloth Hall, allowing me to soak in the atmosphere. The breakfast spread was delightful, featuring crispy bacon and scrambled eggs, alongside pastries that made for an outstanding start to the day.

The hotel offers great views of the Cloth Hall from some rooms, which is a definite plus for sightseers. Breakfast features a mix of self-serve options, including fresh bread and good coffee, catering to varied tastes.
Parking can be tricky. there's no dedicated hotel parking, and while free options exist, they are a bit of a trek. The rooms can be surprisingly small and lack thorough cleanliness, like dust and debris in corners and under furniture. Lighting arrangements are poorly designed—overbearing fixtures can be uncomfortable, while bedside lamps provide too little light. Also, the water pressure on the second floor is abysmally low, and the overall noise can disrupt your rest.

The hotel is well-situated, making it easy to explore Ypres, with key attractions like Menin Gate and numerous restaurants just a short walk away. The staff provided exceptional service, quickly addressing issues like the non-functioning wifi. My room, while not large, had functional amenities and was comfortable for the one-night stay.

the towels were absolutely deplorable, threadbare and with holes, not what i expected at all. i almost thought of leaving a good review, but i couldn’t due to their utter disregard for customer comfort. no welcome gift for making my stay bearable is truly outrageous.

We loved our stay in this centrally located hotel with easy access to museum highlights. The breakfast spread was delightful with plenty of options, including fresh pastries that the kids devoured. Our family had a great view overlooking the bustling market square.
My wife says that the heating was insufficient, making the room too chilly for a comfortable night's sleep.

The location is fantastic, just steps away from the main attractions like the Menin Gate. Staff were incredibly friendly, remembering us by name! Breakfast was delicious and well-stocked with options (loved the fresh fruit! ).
Noise from the street can be a bit distracting at times, especially during dinner hours.
